Very compelling repudiation of the Buddha this Nagarjuna is. Having studied Vipassana, I find myself simultaneously agreing and disagreeing , as though my head was both shaking and nodding at the same time.
Imagine that!
What is and what should never be?
Living in between the two.
Between the light and the dark.
Between the Yen and the Yang.
In the grey.
This is where I find my shamanistic colors.
With all knowledge we are compelled to seek ignorance as well
As one listens to the words of wisdom
One is also reminded of the genius of a newborn babe who has attained blankness without effort
As one studies words
One is reminded of the fool who studies not and dances in the wind
The fool cannot understand his dance and the wise man cannot perform it
Yet both envy the other
As one works for self enlightenment
One is reminded of childhood nights when the world was defined by the song of crickets alone
The more one seeks
The further away one goes
And also the closer one gets
To be is the simplest of ideas and yet the highest of ideals
It takes the wiseman and the fool, the scholar and the babe, the child and the cricket
Random question - just moved to west coast from east coast recently. Am looking for a safe place to continue my slave training. If you're seriously into it, could you recommend a few places?
I am greatly thankful for the time you took to read this and anxiously look forward to your response.
Imagine that!
