procrastinating is good.
itzjusme:
I think the reason I am in such a bad mood is mainly because I have so much homework in combo w/ other crap...I am trying to get it all done...thanks though biggrin

I am in the same type of school situation...almost over...tons of homework...can be stressful yeah?
davey:
Birthdays are TOO fun, saying 'Canada geese' is weird, and I'm just fine. School is poop.

You can do it; best of luck with all those assignments.

And if I am in jail, I will probably ask my visitors why they aren't bunking with me too. If they love me enough to visit, they were probably in on the fun. smile

The rat ran about on my floor--a rare treat for it--for about 30m today. I think it was exploring new places to hide.

I would be intrigued to know an example of one political figure who was handed absolute power, and then gave it up. Ever.
voodoo_child:
Why would a political figure give up absolute power?

Obviously, if they're in politics, they feel they have ideas on how to make things better (no matter how deluded or just plain wrong the ideas are).

So, once they are given "absolute power" they aren't likely to abdicate the throne until they are satisfied with the result and confident with its permanence...and I haven't seen many examples of successful, lasting utopias in human history...
herxredxdeath:
i think that Power Madness is a prerequisite in the school of politics.

voodoo_child:
You're preaching to the choir here, Sarita...I'd like to see some sort of Utopia, though, someday...wouldn't get there in my lifetime, but you have to try...piece by piece

Ok...we're becoming the entire audience for each other...

We should stop this nonsense, get married already-- move to the woods and live deliberately

...anyway...you put Run Lola Run in parenthesis like it is the same as the Princess and the Warrior. Yes, same director and actress, but that would be like me going Lolita (Dr. Strangelove) because their both Kubrick movies with Peter Sellers. I want to see a comma in there, or at the very least a &!! wink
