you know this has got to be one of the most ignored events in recent history. i read a book on it a few years ago and it is every bit as tragic as the holocaust of WW2 and fr more recent. kofi annan is right. the entire world basically ignored this one. these murders were grisly, machete beheadings performed in front of children with no attempt to conceal what was occurring. and somewhere in america, we were concerned about something fully irrelevant......
