I met some strange creatures last night. We went over to Nathan's place to drink and hang out with him and Jojo and some neighbors. Nathan lives in this big industrial loft which is essentially just a long concrete box with a door on one end and a couple windows on the other. Other than the lack of windows, I actually thought it was a pretty cool place. I always have liked the look of industrial lofts.
But! The animals! Amphibians, reptiles, and bugs that I cannot identify, but believe me, they looked absolutely prehistoric. And the best part was a little pigeon that had fallen from its nest that he'd rescued. Nathan's a former animal handler, so he knows a lot about these guys. I got to hold the pigeon on my hand. It pecked me.
