I've decided that I'm going to recomend some books to you. Anything by Chuck Palhounik is very good, especially Fight Club, Sole Survivor (or is it just Survivor ... hmmm), Choke, and Invisible Monsters. His books are pretty interesting, and most of them are a total mindfuck.

A lot of the 'drug' movies were originally really great books. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. Disco Bloodbath by James St. James. And A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess is a really great book as well. Irving Welsh wrote some pretty great books, including Trainspotting and Filth. You should also check out Random Acts of Senseless Violence by JAck Womack.
