I just got off chat with my brother. My brother is actually my step-brother and we lost touch when we were 17 (yes we are the same age). My pops died, the family was a fucking mess, and I never saw him or my other half-siblings ever again.

FB brought us back together and I have to say it's the best thing ever! We were really close when we were young and it's so nice to have him back in my life again. Ironically we reconnected just before i was diagnosed. sort of strange but also good timing in some ways.

I also have a sister that I haven't seen since she was 10 (now 30) and a brother since he was 8. I have emailed with my sis but my brother was so young! He looks like my twin though. it's trippy to me.

I start radiation tomorrow. good times! Every day at 10:30 for 5 weeks I will be getting zapped!

I graduated therapy on Friday. When I was diagnosed I signed up for therapy just in case I fell off the edge. I knew I'd be going through a lot of this alone and well, let's be real, it's heavy shit! My therapist is cool as shit and it was super awesome just to be able to talk to someone and not feel like a burden. The hard part is behind me. Radiation is just prevention and though it won't be super easy it is the easiest part of this process. so...goodbye therapist, thank you for the support!

Went to Local 45 last night. had some mac&cheese and Love Stout. Watched a hilarious kung-fu movie and re-connected with an old friend. One of the best saturdays I've had in ages. yeah I meant the company...duh!
