I'm just going to coast for awhile, Saida, and enjoy everyone else's happiness. I cannot seem to engender much of my own so I'm just going to stop trying. I'm halfway to asshole and curmudgeon and hermit, I might as well go the whole way. I'll live vicariously through more well-adjusted lives than my own.
I hear Rochester is a lovely place.
I have several friends who grew up there and an aunt-in-law who lived there for several years.
They all sing (yes literally sing) it's praises.
We bought a house in Vermont 2 years ago witht the intention of moving there soon afterward.
I'm ready.
I've been ready for 10 years!
