now, is Gavin's father moving closer or farther away? either way....I'm sure as long as your honest with him and let him know its nothing to do with him, Gav should be okay.

kids are tough....I think they have to be tough to survive all the crap us adults put them through!

It sounds like you had a pretty good weekend to me, just going out to eat with a friend makes the weekend good to me and you did a lot more then that.

I remember catching a few Earthquakes games when I was growing up and playing soccer. My brother's team even got to play a mini game on the field during half time.

Don't worry about Gav's dad moving further away. You'll work something out.

It was so much fun to see you in chat the other night! Made me wish we lived even closer so we could just hang out without it being any big expedition.

I'm sorry that Gav's dad is moving so far away... but maybe that is for the best till he gets on his feet. Might help him to put things in perspective. And like Fishy said: Gav has YOU and you are a phenomenal mom!
