Went and saw Superman Returns with the lovely xela tonight.

Geek warning...

It was so much better than I expected. I was a little kid all over again, Bryan Singer has redeemed himself for the debacle that was X-Men III. Mostly. (I'm still pretty pissed about X3)

John Ottman did a pretty amazing job on the music too. He's come a long way since X-men II. Very impressive.

The movie was cast perfectly - Kevin Spacey is the ultimate Lex Luthor.

Brandon Routh is uncanny as a replacement for Christopher Reeves. Kate Boseworth is far better as a Lois Lane than Margo Kidder ever was.

Now I'm going to go and dream of flying all night.

I really liked it too! I loved how is hair always had that little curl in the front no matter what happened. super-man whatever, super-hair? yes.
whenever I dream of flying it always starts out like I'm swimming. I push up of the ground like I'm in the pool. weeeeird.

Well... something like that. Dentist was awful but now it's done. Expensive as a motherfucker too. But... I'm OK. My mouth finally stopped hurting so I could eat for real today. And I'm just enjoying having the house for myself, me and the dog when the family is on vacation. Just being outside, reading, walking, running, cooking.. bbqqqqqq! Oh and watch movies, finally. The TV is always taken by someone else usually. What's up with you?
