Megadeth rule! They had a major impact on my life. They were one of the bands that got me into Metal - and they were the first 'Thrash' band I liked.
Trivium definately have some Megadeth influences. I've seen a picture of Corey at last year's Download with Dave Mustaine on his myspace page.
I never wrote to Kerrang, but I did write to Metal Hammer following the Sepultura split (showing my age now). I also wrote into the now defunct RAW magazine a few times before that (showing my age even more!).
Hey I saw that one in Kerrang!! I usually don't find anything more interesting to read in there after Pandora so it made a nice change
Yeah, Kerrang tend to cater to the younger markets (emo and stuff at the mo) so getting a decent bit of coverage for a proper band like Megadeth is few and far between, but hey, at least they know now
YES!!! I was gonna just say Megadeth are gaylords, but cerephinna has done even better and proved what I've said for the last 2 decades. Of course he doesn't talk like that - and the fact that he sings like it makes him a penis!!
