the other night was first night back to doing jiu jitsu. i felt so happy to be back doing what i love. i didnt do any serious rolling but i was able to work on my leg locks, which i love.
i was going to do some no-gi jiu jitsu this morning but decided not to since i ripped my ear lobe open re-stretching my ears back to inch and a 1/4. tomorrow is open mat so maybe i'll make my way down to the gym.
i cant seem to shake the fear that im going to re-break my ribs again. its only been about 7 weeks since they broke and even though i feel great im afraid of feeling my bones snap and rub against each other and poke me in the lungs. again. i still havent even tried any thai boxing yet. i wonder if i can still kick high enough, or keep pressure on in the clinch.
