My husband Chael comes home from deployment late tomorrow (actually, between midnight and 3am Sunday morning). We were lucky, what should have been an 18 month deployment has turned out to be less than a year.
I am waiting out the last two days wishing the clock would move faster. Tried to get together with a couple friends tonight and tomorrow during the day but they decided not to. So I'm fiddling around online and on WoW killing time.
It's about a 3.5hr drive down to his post, Fort Hood (I live in Dallas) so I'll be starting the drive at about 8pm tomorrow. So one more night and one more long day to go, to include a long drive.
