Hey, hey - how've things been?

I'm so sorry for being gone for so long - but my life is insane right now.

but check this out - It looks like (for much-too-complex-to-explain reasons related to my August wedding) that my future wife and I will be in Vancouver and Victoria in mid-July. Are you gonna be there?

uggg....I'll be a better SGer soon, I promise.
angelvanilla:
Thank you! kiss

We've just cooled down a bit from 31C but my baby jacket's become a bit of a trial - it's currently abandoned in the bag. first of all I made it up inside out because I used a fun bobbly style wool where you can't actually see the stitches and then flipped the ribbing pattern when I reached the far side of the buttonholes. It's intended recipient will have outgrown it by the time I get there tongue tongue tongue

Congratulations on your sweater though, what's nect on the needles?? I nortice Stitch 'n Bitch group has quieted down I wonder that's a seasonal thing...perhaps the needles get too hot biggrin biggrin biggrin

So here's the skinny:

We arrive in Vancouver July 15th arround dinnertime. Next day we catch the ferry from Tsawwassen to Victoria. We'll stay in Victoria until the 21st and then catch the ferry back in the afternoon. We'll then be staying in Vancouver (actually, it'll be Richmond) from the 21st until we fly back to Denver on the morning of the 25th.

Think we'll be able to catch up w/ each other when I'm in town? Maybe for some gellati? biggrin

I don't even want to talk about it or i'll cry.

My stuff was stolen Saturday night, so I lost everything, my bags, my hats, my canopy. My last two journal posts go into more detail.

I wish it went better.

i did meet some really nice people though.

I know. My guts are still knotted up about it.

It was really devastating. I think its going to take me weeks to get over it. frown
