pretty shitty night really, at least they could have been considerate enough to have had it on the friday/saturday night instead of a fuckin sunday during term time
i wish i were a kissy fish.
i hate valentine's day, but only because i hate that people feel obliged to give you stuff. i hate christmas for the same reason. let hallmark have their holidays, and fie on them for it.
but have a better day, dollface. and get some good sleep.
I guess I was lucky because in my suite (consisted of four rooms and one bathroom) we all partied together and first class between 10 & 12 so we never had that problem. Maybe she is just trying to be spitful?
first of all you have the best signature pic on the site. just sayin
second, hi. thanks for commenting on the story. I don't want to make anyone miserable, though. The girl actually became one of my best friends and we laugh at that now. I wanted people to have a bit of a laugh at my expense, because Valentine's day brings up some intense emotions. I totally agree with your journal-it's a bit more annoying to be totally anti-valentine's day than pro.
Hope you have a great night and get some sleep. nice meeting you.
btw ill be gone from tomorow, and will largely be offline for the next 7-10 days until i get net connection sorted at the new abode, hopefullly ill be able to get a new modem too over the weekend so i can sort out my own personal connection
interesting, I just gave my job notice that I'm quitting and they're NOT happy with me.
I'm working now on one of the Law and Order shows, but I've worked on The Sopranos since Season 1, and we're starting the last season on a month, so I'm bailing on L&O to go back to Sopranos.
They hate me now here. So it makes for an interesting work day.
I'm gonna go watch Before Sunset now. Have you seen that?
I'm working on Criminal intent right now. I think it's the worst of the Law and Order shows, but that's just what I;ve heard. I haven't really seen them. I can't wait to leave here. I hate it here.
Before Sunrise came out in 1995. It starred Ethan Hawke (who I don't like) and Julie Delpie, the Frech actress (who I do like). They both play students. Ethan Hawke has been touring Europe and is about to leave for home the next day. Julie Delpie is visiting her grandmother. They meet on a train and decide to get off and walk around Vienna a bit. The whole movie is them talking as they walk around Vienna and they fall for each other. It's really beautiful. They promise to meet again in Vienna in 6 months. The movie ends.
Before Sunset takes plave 9 years later. Ethan Hawke's character is married to someone else. They never met that day 6 months later. But he writes a book about their experience and she reads it. He does a book tour of Europe and she comes to see him speak in Paris. They meet up again.
The second movie might be even better than the first. They're worth looking into.
Oh, hello.
