I think you can get an emergency passport within 48 hours. May cost a bomb tho. Are you sure you need a passport for Germany? Maybe every showing every other piece of identification will work?

I think you can travel within Europe with a photo ID card as well, if you have one of those.

I got an emergency passport in a day! You just need proof that you're travelling. Don't worry, go to the passport office in town!! xx
