I"ve missed you, so glad yr back.
Most of the leagues out there now are flat track derby.
If i had the chance to skate on a banked-track i'd take it in a second. they look like so much fun.
The league in LA now are the LA Derby Dolls, and they skate banked track. As do the Lonestar roller girls and a hand full of others. Having one the space to house a banked track is not something everyone can pull off.

Now-a-days iIts ALL real. Nothing is staged.
I've caught an elbow to the face once. I still have all my teeth!!! We're fully geared up. Helmet, mouth guard, wrist guards, knee & elbow pads...ooh and tail bone protectors.
I've already cracked a knee pad.

Its so much fun to do.
