Thank you very much for your comments on my set! I think I pretty much agree with everything you said and it's really nice to hear analytical thoughts (especially positive ones. )
As for Donnie Darko, I loved it because it had no hype to it when I saw it. Movies get progressively worse the more good things you hear about them. There was also a lot of backstory that wasn't presented in the film, backstory that makes the end so very much more meaningful and poignant. Once you know more of the backstory and how each shot and moment is calculated, the intricacies are mind-blowing. Given that this was his first film and Lynch is an experienced master, I don't see how or why anyone should compare them. Their styles differ so much. I also couldn't care less about Lynch, except for Dune. I think he's overly pretentious.
Sorry for going off, it's just one of my favorite films. It might just be because I grew up in a very similar 'burb in VA and his style of storytelling is very similar to mine. Anyway, opinions are good, I'm glad you have one.
Pumpkins and I have always been good for each other. I finally buckled down and did the dishes tonight, after two nights straight in a row of soaking.
Hey, I really like your site. I've been on a similar mission here in L.A., and have found many strange and wonderful things to photograph. Now I never go anywhere without my camera...
i need to catch up on my netflixxx lovin!! any strong recommendations for my queue?
i have a feeling that there might be a language barrier between cock and pickachu. then cock would eat pika, then pika would do something magical and japanese and explode out of cock to freedom.
no worries dude, you didn't offend me (although looking back at MY response it does come off as somewhat defensive) anyway, it's alllll good!
