The qualities I look for in a friend include consistency, ability to effectively communicate, intelligence, emotional maturity, good sense of humor and knowing how to have a good time! ☺️ In terms of consistency, it’s nice to have friends who show up and are there when you need them. Communication is important for them to be able to openly convey when they aren’t available, instead of ghosting and leaving me hanging. Intelligence to talk about a variety of subjects, from what’s happening in our lives and the world, without me needing to dumb things down. Emotional maturity is key to having deep conversations, whether they are about our own platonic connection or the ones we have with others. And as someone who likes to crack jokes and be silly, its ideal to have someone on that same wavelength who finds the same things funny and isn’t easily offended by lewd comments. Lastly, having a good time is kinda fundamental to it all! 😸 While life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, its nice to have friends who are able to enjoy it despite the storms. These qualities make the best buddies ^_^
