boundcreature:
hey hey yourself.

i like to write journals like i do. for most of this summer its been my only truly unencumbered emotional outlet. i usually just let it fly.

i've been working on a 10 page comic about heartbreak, solitude, and rebuilding. the first serious comic work i've done in two years, it'll be something of a debut for me as a comics artist/writer.

i quit art school after my first year. i'm almost entirely self-taught.

how big (relatively) are the originals of the work you posted?

daversion:

anyway, do you want to play a little guessing game of sorts? wink
daversion:
okay then biggrin

guess the radiohead album(s), part I:

sarcasticmenace:
Dude, check your email. smile Question: Doesn't Paypal charge you a fee to receive money? Would you prefer I give you a credit card number or send you a check? Personally, I don't think those bastards deserve a cut, but it's up to you. I know it's faster that way. wink
chezgeek:

thefuckoffkid:
Around the time of 9/11, we had our own security issues emerge -- nothing as dramatic as the twin towers attack, but to do with "illegal immigrants" (asylum seekers) which in the climate of the time made for an election victory for the conservatives.

One of these episodes involved the claim that asylum seekers on a small boat were throwing their kids into the water in order to be rescued by watching Australian boats. The incumbent PM claimed this repeatedly at the time, in the spirit of "Why would we want to accept people into this country who would do things like that."

As you can see, it's coming down like a house of cards. But as with Bush, the almost certain fact that a politician has played fast and loose with the truth does not necessarily translate into voter reaction. We'll see.
chris_sick:
okay you're up to seven pages, my man. you're good, we've all seen them. in seven pages, the whole site probably saw them by now. time to update.

read your last news story(bush/shellgame) i didn't feel like getting into it on the thread cause i'm not as informed about the subject as i should be. however, i'd have to tell you, on the surface looks like you're making hay out of a non-issue.

are you gunning for a news editor position?
