4 and 6 of #1 seem to me to be the same thing. though to really live with no distractions etc, you want to do that either before you start the family or in your "retirement" years, because otherwise the two don't go together.

But aiming not in the direction you told me ended up doing what you wanted done when you told me to aim in that direction!! The only way I'll ever do anything good is if I'm trying to do something else.

I plead ignorance instead of deception. I rarely know exactly where I am if the sun isn't visible - that's why I got totally lost without SG guidance in Leeds.
However, you are quite wise to take everything I say with a pinch of salt - and a side salad - and may I recommend the 1999 Rioja?
