What an absolute gorgeous weekend. It was so nice outside. So I went to the baby shower Saturday & it was ok. Got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while. But I felt a little out of place. Some have kids & others are recently married & what not. Dont get me wrong this doesnt make me want to rush out & get married & pop out 4 kids. But as far as mentality goes it's on a different wavelength.
Anyway, I lounged around all weekend & it was nice. Sometimes you just need that. On another note I worked Friday. I got a couple gory stories. So those of a weak stomach please skip the next paragraph.
When things are weird some people say. Hey is it a full moon out tonight or what?
Normally I would say what difference does it make. Oh but it does, whether it is a full moon or not. Sometimes you just feel it's gonna be a bad night. It's weird you can tell when hell is about to break loose.
So the night started off good. We had this guy who had 2nd & 3rd degree burns to his legs. This was caused by hot grease or oil. Afterward we were sitting for a bit before everything went to the shitter. We got 2 guys who got shot in the head. 2, what are the chances? Not only that but they came from the same hospital. What's even weirder is that it was in the same place but just on the other side of the head.
One guy was shot behind the ear at close range on the left side. The bullet traveled around his head & came out by his temple. There was a lot of blood & all in all he was ok. Lucky if you ask me. The other guy got shot by his ear on the right side. Both guys shot in the head & both of them were ok. Talking & moving without a problem. Now I'm not sure but I think the 2nd guy was a little more screwed than the 1st. But he was still over all ok. So this is just a preview of what is to come in the next couple months. It gets nice outside & people act like idiots. But as we call it it's job security.
I really wanted my partner to take a pic of the 1st guy. Cause she has a camera phone but she was being a sissy. So when I get one I'll post some pics. It'll be a little to obvious with a digital camera.
So my b-day is in a couple weeks & still havent decided what to do. I really have no ideas. I think I'm over the whole clubbing scene. It doesnt really appeal to me anymore. I've already asked for the weekend off. So I better get it.
Question: Is it a good thing when you're told you're marriage material even though you're not the marrying type?
