Good Job on the aerobics class! the first few times is the hardest. once you get into the routine of going though it gets good. well. that's the way it is for me and going to the gym.
sleeping is always a good thing. I myself have been sleeping at the wrong times. I hope you are getting used to the fall glum, cause i'm not yet.
what kind of school do you go to that has saturday exams? that's just wrong. my college didn't even have classes on fridays!
i noticed you say you are a pixie. how tall are you?
I joined a circut weight training class at the college. I can go all I want and it's cheaper than the gym. Now I'm going to get all fit and then maybe through a few pics up. If I get back to the way I was in high school I'll definately do it.
Yes, pearl is a mess.
But powerful.
Stay away from that .net shit. It's evil. I wasted 6 years working with that M$ crap (ASP, VB, ASP.net)
C# is ok for windows apps.
I'm considering moving to Canada. Immigration has already given me the initial nod of approval. What is the job situation for programmers over there? What seems to be the flavour of the month these days? Java? dotNet? Pearl? COBOL
I want to get into Macromedia Studio. I believe the latest version is a viable application development platform.
Well done for having the organisation and conviction to get into the old exercise thing! I really need to start going to the gym again - it's been two months since I last went and that's not good...
Cheers for the comment as well. I actually went to visit the guy today and he still seems a bit shellshocked but hopefully given time he'll start getting better. That said, I could have done without my mate who I went on the visit with having the Jay-Z and Beyonce song stuck in his head and unconsciously humming it half the time we were in there! (I'll leave you to work out why this was a bad thing... )
Anyway, hope the exams go well. Stay crazy.
Yowza! Yeah, you should probably stay sober while doing aerobics, at least till you get the hang of it I had a chat with my journal about eating your entry. i guess it was pretty hungry cause i haven't been feeding it much lately.
that's cool your gloom is going away. sounds like your organs get along really well. mine need a little more force to get together i think. It may be breakinga bit though. My energy level is just at zero and working out seems like soo much work. oh well I will have to find a way. as for beer being fun. i totally agree that it's fun. but i think it will bring me down in the end so i'm avoiding it for awhile. poor beer, maybe that's why my stomach isn't happy!
so i would say 5'1" is a bit big for a pixie. but definitely a bit on the small side when it comes to humans. haha, which makes me think we should take some pics together, even if they are us fully clothed standing next to each other. cause if you are big for a pixie, I'm small for a giant. Measuring in at 6'4" we would look pretty goofy standing next to each other.
hope you studied hard for your exams! you seem like a smart girl! woo hoo! well 4 years of no college on fridays got me a job where i work every weekend so its not that great. but i'm quiting that in 4 weeks, that might help my gloom go away too.
Do you have any recomendations for employment sites in Canada? I'm looking at some sites at the moment. Are there any that specialize in IT?
>they get hired for what they can learn
That's an interesting comment, the people that we typically look for should be able to "hit the ground running", particlarly for the high end contractors.
A good renumeration package is important, but what a I am really looking for is working for an organization with stong leadership and performance capabilities. These companies are few and far apart in Australia.
1 cup of water
25 g yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar/honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup natural yoghurt
about 3 cups wheat flour
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water. Add salt, sugar, oil and yoghurt. Mix in the flour gradually so that the dough becomes firm and round. Cover with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place.
Roll 8-10 buns of the dough and flatten them into flat ovale breads. Let rise again. Brush with melted butter/margarine and bake in an oven in 225C for about 10 minutes.
-sorry about the Celsius there- I have no idea what its in Fahrenheit!
