I can personally touch on the handling of product, especially those in boxes—I oversee shoes, accessories for ladies, and handbags at a department store, so I unpack and process a lot of freight—and I’ve learned the hard way that it’ll dry your skin out and make it raw from the constant contact with it. So, yes, definitely wear some work gloves when handling more than a little of product like that.

Haha I do love Werner Herzog's voice though 😂 and the fact he called bowling alleys an "abomination". Maybe try some engineering gloves (nitrile coated) I wear them for my work, they are pretty comfy. I'm hoping to get a tattoo FROM @marlene one day but I don't think it's creepy to get a tattoo of her. I take zinc and turmeric but I honestly wouldn't know the difference if I didn't.

@hewn @hiptobes thanks, I'll pick some up, are they fingerless? And @hiptobes I just have to be in a Werner Herzog mood and I'm so not right now, haha. Also I have taken turmeric too and didn't notice a different but they say it helps for inflammation right? I took Magnesium for awhile but it started hurting my kidneys so I stopped.
hiptobes:
If you want fingerless gloves I'd just pick up a cheap pair of mountain biking gloves. I think it's the curcumin in turmeric that makes it anti-inflammatory, I usually have it after workouts to help with muscle aches but I also used cherryactive in liquid and pill form, that always felt like it helped but that's probably the sugar in it 😂

Random answer, Google Krakatoa:The great volcanic eruption. Its actually quite good

One thing I found with gloves cutting and hauling firewood with my dad was that thicker, more protective gloves have more resistance when I squeeze my fingers, so my hands got sore and tired faster and would hurt more the next day than with thinner, more pliable gloves.  I take a men's multi-vitamin daily (from this company: https://www.rainbowlight.com/our-product/womens-health.html ) that is very high in Bs.  I can't say that I noticed a difference when I first started taking them, but I do notice that I have more difficulty sleeping if I don't take it.  They are more expensive, but have promotions often enough I never buy at full price.

Compression wrist and elbow supports could be worth while.

Yes, you used to be able to to put pictures in comments. I suspect the privilege was too often abused and thus rescinded... Sigh... This is why we can't have nice things... Everything I've read suggests that unless you have a particular deficiency that you are taking a particular supplement to correct, most vitamins and supplements are pretty ineffective...

just some random answer (or further questions I don't know for sure). Unsweet tea is not bad for you (the whole of Japan drinks it non stop). wearing gloves for this kind of work is definitely better for your hands, in my opinion finding some good gloves which fit nice and are nice to wear all day is a plus. There is some decent enough documentaries on Pompeii/Vesuvius eruption (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3qo5z2 from national geographic, dramatized one from bbc > https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x421mv2 ) and there is a decent documentary on the great Krakatau eruption from 1883 > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrEIT66oPqU .

I don't think a Marlene tattoo would be creepy, although I am not her, as long as it were well done, there are some scary tats out there of people done wrong.  Gloves might help for sure, but if the hand work is the new job, in my experience it will just take some time until your hands are used to it, then you'll be off to the races.

I remember 2 movies about volcanos In recent years, well the 90s I think.  Dantes Peak and one with Tommy Lee Jones, I think it was just called volcano, but there was Lava in LA.  Always loved disaster movies.  Now I want to watch the Posieden Adventure again.

Dang, I miss a lot while not being around much! Plain water is plain water and is better for you than tea or anything that is water with additives. I do love tea and unsweet is one way to go to avoid sugars, but that plain water does make a difference since tea is a diuretic. Then again I do drink almost 100 ounces of water a day on top of tea and coffee thrown in there. I wish I could be at Wizard World. I'm already not ready for my own work at Horror Hound this coming weekend. My arm is so sore and, luckily, I don't have to do much physical labor, but it's still kind of rough doing much beyond sitting around and relaxing my shoulder/back to ease my pain. We'll see how that goes since I haven't left my house for anything beyond work (which sucks enough out of me as is in my current state). I can't help with booty exercises. I do way too many lunges and squats that I have some nice glutes and booty and going on for a dude. I'm pretty proud of my own booty, but I don't really know much beyond the fact it's what I do and I'm doing it more for my sport than for booty so.... my knowledge goes as far to say they're good for me and that's it. As for supplements, I can say that I took Sports Research Collagen (I'm picky on additives and crap in my supplements) did seem to help my sore joints pretty well after continually taking it for a while. It helped with my permanently injured knee and my multiple sprains. It has some other health benefits as well. I also took MCT oil which messes up my stomach for the first week (if I stop it, which I usually do), but I've noticed my digestive system seems top notch when I continually take a shot of that every AM. It didn't really give me any noticeable boost of energy, but I seemed to have a more efficient digestive system when taking it. I believe collage is also good for GERD? I can't remember. I did some research on those two things and took them about 75% of the time for about two years. Right now it's mostly different proteins (whey, pea, rice), creatine, BCAAs, and I like to have some other ones... forgetting right now offhand, for really busy derby summers to help with recovery and such. Other than that Fish Oil is great for my not great dry eyes (especially post-LASIK), Vitamic C helps with a lot of things, and a multi with high B's in it. I usually just go for Naked or Promix branded supplements because there are no preservatives, sugars, or any added garbage that I think messed up my stomach when I took 'em. I can't really do fake sugars without stomach upset and becoming really thirsty all the time. Big response, but I haven't talked to you in a while.... so... hope all else is well! ❤

I've also been suffering with something GERD like. I've been on those acid reducers for months, but the doctors keep saying my blood work is great. I know there is something off vitamin wise. I recently started taking a b complex. That has been making me feel better, but I too feel like there's something more missing. Have you heard of Dr. Wahl's? or watched her Ted talk? As far as the booty goes, do you ever do any kind of things on the floor? Like sets of pelvic thrusts etc? I do these side leg lifts as well as these sort of... butt crunches... all of those are low impact on the hips. Beyond that stretching out your quads will keep them leaner.
