Wednesday, middle of the work week for most but for me another day/step in my journey to free myself from my warped memories of my past, mainly my childhood. Each day I work on this I feel the progress but the way my mind works it is extremely hard for me to maintain my focus.
An Edgar Allen Poe poem sums up what I have felt an done for most of my adult(years wise) life ...
I have absolutely no pleasure in the stimulants in which I sometimes so madly indulge. It has not been in the pursuit of pleasure that I have periled life and reputation and reason. It has been the desperate attempt to escape from torturing memories, from a sense of insupportable loneliness and a dread of some strange impending doom.
I must draw and maintain my energy from positive people, it is the only way for me to stay on track to reach my goal. I have found some positive SG that are helping me though their inspirational words, either by blogs or posts/message to me. I have been blessed with meeting and finding friends or the help I need at the right times to help me continue on my journey. Sometimes there is too much time I wallow in self pity but I am always lifted out by words that inspire me from my friends Luffy is tops on my list on who inspire me .. bigs hugs and loves of love(most unconditional of course )
