Could it be that the surgery coud have been part of the moodiness (ie crying spells). Its not uncommon for people who have undergone surgeries and such they can do things to your hormones and the fact that you havnt been eating like you normally would maybe your body is ajusting.. just a thought.
As for the ex.. i can understand the sadnees.. Just keep your chin up!
