More than almost anything, I hate busy signals on phones. They're rare these days, but it just seems like a buzzkill - you need to talk to someone, so you call... you wait for that ring, then get this massive beeping version of a cockblock telling you that their line is busy. To add to that, even if you're in the 99% of the population with call waiting... NOBODY EVER ANSWERS THEIR BEEPS.

My gargantuan inner nerd also loathes Tuesdays, as it's 'routine maintanence' day on World of Warcraft. I'm not one of the hardcore gamers, but I like being able to sit down and play for an hour if I'm trying to get my head out of working on things without distracting myself to the point of leaving the house (if I go out, nothing gets done)... but nope, not on Tuesdays! And since I'm on Atlantic time, an hour ahead of EST, the server outage goes well into the evening for me. This doesn't overly affect most players, because they work during the day and play at night. Me? I work out of my home and various studios, and even when I'm travelling for work I can play WoW in the mornings. I usually don't play at night, because that's when I actually get to spend time with the rest of humanity. Then again, if i had a job harder than 'pop/soundtrack writer' and 'producer of random music' that somehow paid less, I'd probably go to hating EVERY weekday instead of just disliking Tuesdays because I can't indulge my geekiness while I'm busy working at my own pace.

Can anyone recommend some music? I've been having to listen to FAR too much hip hop lately because that's what I've been recording/mixing for people in my side company. I need some good ol' metal.

Oh and in hindsight, when a bunch of drunk wannabe kids tried to ruin the hip hop show I paid for, it wasn't especially bright for me to say 'Don't talk that kind of shit unless you've got a gun tucked somewhere'. I lose my temper WAY too easily, so I probably shouldn't even attend shows any company I'm affiliated with promotes... because I end up having to act like a bouncer. In retrospect, I could easily get a gun drawn on me (which has already happened twice) or worse if I don't learn to stop myself from getting into fights with large groups of people just because someone says 'cunt' in my general direction.

I still have a fever, and that could easily be why I'm rambling.

Two recent guilty pleasures: Dr. Phil, and clever 'diss' rap tracks. Note that I'm NOT talking about the retarded 'THAT GUY SUCKS DICK, WHAT A FAG' songs.
