Great work and sorry he even talked during the session. smile I actually help hire the life drawing models at the Art School I work at and also sit in occasionally for sessions as an artist. Apparently he doesnt get what he was hired for... posing. Ha! i can see he did some classic poses though and you got something out of the session. Nice job! kiss

Hahaha, thanx! The status was actually a statement made by someone after meeting me in person! Haha.

Your drawings look amazing. I did a lot of figure drawings when I went to art school. You have a lot of soft touches in your drawings, I love the hips, and hand on the first drawing and the legs on the next one. both are slightly exaggerated and I love them.
kaikai:
I'm studying for a different degree now... Architecture. We don't get much figure drawing in but I've been to Dr Sketchy's once or twice.. have you ever been?
kaikai:
I really enjoy it, They don't always post who the model will be, which can be a bit upsetting as I'm a poor student in London I'd like to know what I'm paying for.
kaikai:
The surprise can definitely be fun. However as Dr Sketchys is so much props as well as the models, some models just cover themselves to much in props, or go out of the way to pose poorly. I guess because I'm paying rather then just drawing people on public transport like I normally do.
kaikai:
In the art school I went to you often drew figures for as little as 30 seconds. so you quickly learned that not every sketch is going to look good by any means. I love drawing people in motion, I spend half my lectures drawing either the tutor or my peers.

Go out, draw people as they move!
