Thanks for the well wishes and the mention in your blog! It seemed like it took me forever to write that post...My memory is just so damn fuzzy. It is strange...Kind of like there is a disconnect between those events and where I am now...Like it was a dream or something. I dunno...It is kinda hard to explain.

Anyway, I'm just glad that whole experience is over. Now it is just a waiting game to see if this was the last time I'll have to go through all that shit. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can start getting out to events again biggrin
ta2dmom:
Right?
Seriously. I don't even care but it's getting a bit out of hand.

l9x9:

I am completely not surprised that Basia Bulat got a Polaris Prize, she's been on DNTO more often than Sook Yin Lee. Plus: the awesomeness.

Also, narwhals are the sneakiest whale. But did you know about king crabs? They're actually spiders, so I guess they're sort of like the sneakiest spiders 'cause everyone eats them and no one's the wiser. I saw this one at NOAA, it was totally bigger than the professor holding it. Then it bit him on the lip. Amazing.

wendy:
oh yay! i'm so glad you got it. was nervous it wouldn't get there...i have a hard time building trust with the Israeli postal system! oh i'm happy!
s_eldorado:

i was never a softy until i worked with kids. it happens. embrace it.

so the ds game-- it comes with a pedometer peripheral that plugs into the gba slot on the ds. you record your eating habits, it prescribes to you what you need to put in on the pedometer.

really it's so lame. i know what it will tell me, the more i eat the more i need to put on the pedometer. but i need *something* to hold me accountable, and i had a gift card. ooo aaa
flaneur:
You're too kind.

Thanks. I really hope this is the last go around as well. Yea, the bit about the goop was pretty nasty. I tried to be relatively delicate...Lots of details about that I left out haha blackeyed One of those things where I read it back and even I thought it was a tad disgusting lol tongue Strange the things we get used to...So used to dealing with that type of shit now that it doesn't really even bother me anymore.

Anyway, hope you are doing well!

My heart knows that, but my head is still, to this day, trying to figure out what I did wrong to drive her away. I will look into that book, thanks.
