I was checking out your posts in the 'HC kids" thread. Good stuff. I have a slightly different take on things but then that's me. I'm out there anyway.

Unfortunately the only thing remotley related to HC/punk (yes, I still associate the two) with has any element of danger or risk characteristic of the old scene is the NS/WP scene.

Thanks for replying in my journal. I need to check out some of those books you've mentioned. Most of what I've learned about the 'way it was' was from people who were active during that time. I didn't start hanging out until '91 due to living in the middle of nowhere. As a result I missed alot of history and some great bands.

I'm playing at the Phoenix about a week before you with almost the same line-up. Except I don't think we'll ever play with Resilience again though. I hear they hate us.
