be careful in your wanderings, child! i came out of the woods a few days ago with no less than seven ticks only one of which was not of the lyme disease carrying variety.
I love walking/hiking too. I remember leaving a friend's house, and it was such a nice day out, that I opted to walk home. Later, other friends marveled over the fact that I walked the six miles like it was nothing.

Your hike sound great! I'm always amazed at the more natural places I find around Houston; you'd never think it was inside the Loop.
I though of you the other day. We tried a bottle of Rogue's Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale; it's like breakfast in beer form. If you get the chance give it a try, I'd like to know your thoughts.
