Good to hear from you, Rexx!
Hope your winter has been good and your spring even better!
For reading, I can't recommend The End of Everything by Meagan Abbott, enough.
Best Wishes, Beautiful!
I don't usually comment, because I don't want to come off as creepy.. but your words, and how you set up your sentences are really beautiful. I enjoy reading your blogs.
I usually don't enjoy his short stories as much as his poetry (I like the brevity of his writing) but I must admit Notes...is an enjoyable read.
If I may be so bold as to suggest an author of pomes (as Bukowski liked to say) you might not know, my fellow Montrealer Irving Layton. He is (was) wonderful and the Dance With Desire collection is monumental.
i remember reading under the covers with flashlight as a young one, a romantic and magical time. i've read Stiff, maybe i should re-read it with a flashlight. oh, and nice Slayer shirt!
Ahh... Pittsburgh!
Ive been all over the states, BUT the 'Burgh is my home. Nothing beats the view as you exit the Fort Pitt tunnel and the city is there before you.
What a great blog to start 2012! Are you moving back to Virginia? Reading your blogs makes me want to visit Pittsburgh. Happy New Year! Hope 2012 is a great one for you!
Slayer, still kicking ass! I still have my Reign in Blood tour shirt. yeah, i'm that old.
now that you mention it, i remember getting odd looks from fellow passengers when they saw me reading Stiff on the bus. maybe i'll do that again soon?
i think i finally feel normal after visiting blackout city for a bit on new years. new years has never been a great time for me, something always goes haywire. today i think i'll finally get a library card! lost one years ago.
Hope your winter has been good and your spring even better!
