My exgirlfriend stole my phone and I was without one for about 5 days. The first day I was freaking out then, I accepted the fact that I would not get numbers back for people I had no way of getting in contact with. After that I started to enjoy the freedom of no way of getting in contact with anyone or being bothered. After a few days I had to get a new one since my business demands it.... I had wonderful peace and quiet for that time smile

Funny you mention MacBook - just got mine refurbished/fixed because there was a ton of things wrong with it (broken cd drive, whirring fan that was too loud, overheating etc.) But I've had it for a decent while, so I can't complain too much because it's served me well in my surfing the interwebz.
Be well!

Beautiful and fascinating blog, as always.
Time is an excellent subject. For a physics-based view, try Julian Barbour's "The End of Time" about the possibility we live in a timeless universe.
On a more personal level, there a a lot of days I try to slow down, and appreciate the moments I have.
Congrats on the MacBook, too!
Later, Beautiful!

nothing could be more happy than the instant that one gets themselves a mac. this moment of happiness can always be relived by relishing the aluminum and the white glowing fruit adorning its back. smile

Time can be a nightmare or like a lucid dream...which do you choose?
