Exciting news

September 28th, i have my orientation in the emergency room. I'm super excited. I loooooove the maternity ward, really. But it's zero challenge. None. The hospital where i work doesn't have a high risk clinic or neonatal cares, so all we have are the normal pregnancies and term babies. It's nice, but boring... I mean, if i do another teaching on first bath for baby, i might scream. I needed to be there, because there is no stress. I was in a time in my life when that was important. Plus, it's so positive, made me happy! But if i stay there, im afraid im gonna lose all my skills and techniques. So i'm making the switch to the ER. I'm thrilled, this is huge for me. The selection was super hard, the training will be too. 6 days theorics and 6 weeks practice of orientation before i can actually have my patients. Can't wait to start!

Next saturday is my huge exam for the nursing board. 3 days of 8 hours of exam, written and practice, 500$ exam. I've been studying for weeks, i'm pretty sure im gonna nail this. But still, i can't wait for this to be over.
