beautiful people - peoples with cheese
millions of peaches - peaches for free
-The Presidents Of The United States-
in related news - I've been surfing this free quirky singles site OKCupid set up by a couple of Harvard & MIT math students that has a statistical matching system - and is chock full of bizarre, user-written tests
according to which I am most like, as follows ...
1. U.S. President:Jimmy Carter
2. signature weapon: Short Sword
3. Philosopher: Edmund Husserl
4. method I would use to kill someone: strangulation
5. country: Canada
6. my real age: 45
7. dinosaur: Raptor
8. dog: Border Collie
9. Shakespearian character:Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), or King Lear
find out this and so much more about me, at my profile under the alias luxveritas
if nothing else it's good for a laugh. I spend way too much time on the web, to the point where it is having deleterious effects on my brain ...
it's been a year since I abandoned my studies of Latin & Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine and returned to New York for lack of cash. The University was a miserable academic outpost - but the natural wonder and remoteness of the place was a boon to my spirit.
Maine - I miss the Atlantic most of all
not to mention some sparkling swimming spots - perfect for mid-Summer skinny dipping
... but my academic prospects are pretty healthy, the State University at Albany has a hearty classical art & archeology department with current digs in Cyprus, and across the Hudson River is one of the nation's top-notch technical private universities - all of which I'll be taking advantage of in due course
and heck I'm closer to my Adirondack childhood
-the Adirondack Mountains are the New York part of the larger Appalachian Chain of mountains that run the length of the Eastcoast, in case you didn't know-
frankly - things are looking up ... except socially - I find that it is really much easier to set social graces aside and live brutally
oh yes, my OKCupid Character flaw:Emo Kid
a parting arty shot of my filthy carcass - squint you bastards!
