Good news: I got an award for being the top 'team mate' on my team. Basically, the most assists and such, which is always nice, because I love my teammates for the most part, and it's good to know.
Mediocre news: Most of them won't be my team mates anymore, but that's balanced out by the more useless co-workers on other teams being likely to end up on my team with my non-nonsense manager, whom I love.
Bad news: The award was given out to other teams as well, including a gal who was only 'working' for about 2.5 hours yesterday, for no apparent reason.
So it's the whole 'Everyone gets a prize prize' - 3 awards for ~36 people? Kind of weak, I'd say.
Better news: Every day, a report is being mailed out to all the agents and managers with the amount of time being logged in, amount of time scheduled, and the time spent kind of in-between.
It's the in-between which bother me, almost more than the not logged in, because it's like 'I can hide the fact I am not working as hard as I ought to be, and no one will notice.'
Sorry this is all kind of boring but I know at least one teammate's girlfriend has a membership on SG, and he (and she!) are awesome, but the whole HR moment of mentioning SG to any woman in a workplace? Yeah, no thanks.
