alienheep:
I don't get to the Theater ever but plays can be great fun for sure.
greaser:
Glock, eh? Nice! I could use an automatic, but there are more important things to blow money on at the moment. Burglars and ne'er do wells will have to settle for an old fashioned method of bullet delivery.
coyotemike:
Glocks suck!
greaser:
Well, I'm not too worried about stopping power with my .357. It makes nice holesbiggrin

That "toy" feeling is what I don't like about Glocks. I like a pistol with a solid feel. That's (one of the reasons) why I didn't like the M9 they issued me in the Army. That Colt 1911 I shot in Vegas, on the other hand, felt like it could double as a hammer. It felt heavy and sturdy, but smoother and more comfortable than my clunky S&W. I had never shot a .45 before and I was surprised by how easy it was to control. I thought there would be more recoil than there was. How does such a lightweight gun as a Glock 21 handle a .45 round?
_luvthis_:
Should I be frightened?
coyotemike:
Auto: Colt 1911, commander frame; S&W M&P .40

Wheel: S&W K-frame .357, 4 or 6 inch; anything from the modern Ruger line, preferably .357
_luvthis_:
All this gun talk
*fans self* biggrin
pawko4b:
preparing for a trip to Miami?
coyotemike:
Not a Taurus fan. They're design knock-offs.
mildots:
I've actually been thinking about a 17 9mm. It would be our first gun. We are planning on taking our concealed class in a few weeks.
alienheep:
Fun.
coyotemike:
Colt and Springfield 1911s cost a ton, but you can pick up an import for less than a Glock. I had a nice Israeli one several years ago.
greaser:
For some reason I was under the impression that the Glock 21sf was only available in .45 caliber. I don't know much about Glocks.
