Okay, here I am driving to work and there is a traffic report along the lines of, "There are cows on the road at location X."

And all of a sudden I'm singing, "Cows on the road" really loudly as I'm driving along, not in tune or to any particular song; just loudly.
Well, singing and laughing my ass off. It was so funny. And, the best bit is, it gets funnier the louder you sing it. Try it now. If you don't laugh, check your pulse.

It amazes me, constantly, how utterly stupid I can be.

I mean REALLY, REALLY silly. If the above isn't evidence, then a more concrete example you are undeserving of.
