Wow hun.. well I'm glad I won't be travelling anytime soon because I too would need to be able to take along my medication which is also in syringes that have to be kept cool. So I can fully understand your frustration in the situation and I'm sorry that you're having to deal with that crap :hugs:

It's all crap. It's more of that bureaucracy the Republicans supposedly "save" us from so scary much cuz they're so for "small government," until it comes to individual rights, then they cannot be fucking intrusive enough.

yeah, the complete disregard for privacy really creeps me out. i'm glad that everywhere i want to go (at least right now) is within driving distance. i'm less worried about terrorists and more worried about airport security. i shudder at the thought of having to fly anywhere. and then i curl up in a ball on the floor and twitch.

that's a good point. there is alot of hubbub about patient confidentiality, but then it's all lost when it comes to this. hmmm, need to think a little more on that.

I think that's awful! There are a million other ways that people could bring bombs and stuff into a plane. Maybe you'll start having to put your ice packs and meds in your 'intestinal tract' to avert the security people.
