Top to bottom one of my favorite recent albums
ada:
Your name is from a Philip K Dick novel, isn't it? Which one?? It's been driving me crazy for some reason.
zenhell:
hi

i like your profile picture (is it from the shining?)

TIME OUT OF JOINT is a good PKD novel

alot of interesting references in your profile (ellington, wagner, natasha rostov, etc)

ZH skull
hastwothumbs:
I really dig your profile. You've got great taste. And wit, to boot!
laylajane69:
You've never seen Kids In The Hall??? That's where my profile picture is from. Best tv show ever! And Bringing Out the Dead the book, like almost all other books made into movies, IS better than the movie. However they did a pretty good job on the movie....

I like that some of what gets you hot is a fuck-it-all attitude. Rock!
sqook:
haha good story. Did you lose the client over that?
mrsmead:
he knocked his friend into her then said he was actively not sorry as she stood there bleeding

i was so ready to get my ass kicked over it........
fucker.

as far as circuses go, i really don't understand the clowns, but america used to be far less open on all fronts, family life, sexuality, corporate policies, etc.......

nobody really saw the dark side of the circus, so it seemed magical, especially stunts you'd never imagined and animals you'd never seen

i still hate the circus............

a riddle, and i hope you haven't already seen the answer:

How is a raven like a writing desk?
trocc:
nah, decibully is my buddy Eric's band - he's an old friend that i'm happy to see doing well and doing what he loves. and their new record is actually very good. the vocalist and some others used to be in a band called Camden that i loved.

the whirlwind tour referred to the two weeks a buddy was visiting where we tried to get together and whoop it up any chance we got... i needed to catch my breath.

my year was pretty jumbled, too, man - buying a house and getting engaged will do that to you. i still think i can come up with a good year-end collection, though - i'll let you know when it happens.
scopitone6248:
I'm sorry, so I should STOP bleeding myself whenever I have a headache? And what should be done with my leech farm? Enough of your Witch Craft and black magic! wink

Yeah, I loaded up on every 'Quil they make and continue drinking like a fish. I should be alright.

Oh and I love your new profile pic. It's quite a...Conversation piece wink

*Where do you think the mic was hidden at the end of that movie?
phoebus:
Nah, never played that one. As for how wired things are here, do you mean the tension? It's like a tight wire, man. Just the other day, they had TVs showing massive fights between protesters and riot cops--I'll never pick a fight with a demonstrator in Seoul, that's for sure. wink

Wait, I just remembered what Lineage was--only game, right? I've seen shots of it in the Subway and it seems awesome. Only problem is, our DSL connection at Osan in unreliable--at best. frown

Berlin Alexanderplatz is great.. we're watching it in parts though.. so I haven't seen the whole shebang yet.

Which Fassbinder films have you seen? I could recommend some of his better ones once I know which you didn't like.
scopitone6248:
Whoa whoa whoa, are you aware that the Beta for Lineage II is going on right now? I think it just opened up last night. Go!
mrsmead:
of course you've heard it before, the Mad Hatter asks Alice
but he never gives the answer wink

let me know if you give up........
rosalyn:
I've never used C#, but yea I've heard it's got pretty much the best of both C++ and Java. Which sounds pretty sweet! However, I've no desire to trap myself in a world of .NET, so given the choice, I'll always avoid C# and it's little friends.

smile
schoolgirl:
thank you so much for the birthday wishes. sweet are you. smile
scopitone6248:
Thanks for the Birthday Wishes! biggrin

I always thought the Mic was hidden in his Saxaphone bit. That little thing hanging around his neck. I listened to the commentary on the DVD hoping to get an answer. Well, of course it's the 70's flick cliche "We'll never know". Indeed.
lemonkid:
House of Leaves is a fine interesting book. My friend I lent it to kept it in the closet when he was done reading it he was so scared of it.

Try Ali: Fear Eats the Soul as far as Fassbinder is concerned.. or the Marriage of Maria Braun.
