as for your situation, do what you think is best. if you are frustrated bring it up with your friend and if it isnt resolved to your satisfaction then take further action. ending the friendship is one such action choice

You know, I think you shouldn't do anything. The day might come when the jackass is out of the picture, and the major reason for your separation is gone. You don't want to say or do anything that would stand in the way of a future reconciliation, especially because they can be a long time coming (the longest boy/girlfriend-induced separation I know of was 10 years long). Don't think that you're ending it, just think that you're placing it on a shelf and waiting for it to be time to take it down again.

i don't know if you can end a friendship gracefully. You can gradually let it fade away though.....

I've been through something similar numerous times. I pretty much concur with what the posters above me have all said.
I think that as we go through life, we sometimes grow away from people we were once really close to. It doesn't really mean anyone involved has done anything wrong - it just happens. I agree that it's best to just allow the drift to happen, and like commonman said, maybe don't completely burn the bridge with this girl in case the time comes that she breaks up with this guy and wants to reestablish a freindship.

Yah thats happened to me in my own way a few times but it's best to not get to upset and just take some time to you'r self for a while then I am shure you will eventualy want to spend time with you'r friend(s) again or at least thats the way I feel some times / .I don't know if you will like my music but I am glad that you may listen to it !My music is very heavy metal kinda like a cross between Pantera and Led Zeppelin and maybe a bit of ANTHRAX stiyle in there as well though the sound quality is not all that great as my music was filmed on a camcorder and then I am going to re-record the music with a MP3 player.As is my vocals unfortunately did not come out so well on the recording even though I can sing realy good the voice recorder on the camcorder had a hard time picking up my singing / .Maybe I will just re-do the whole thing.... / .Have a great day my friend !
