time for an update..

i did not get fired as a result of hijacking the station on monday! got my ass chewed a bit, but it wasnt too bad.. all worth it in the end

ive been riding my motorcycle a bunch this week. today was BEAUTIFUL-perfect weather to ride and think and enjoy life. all good things!

it looks like i will probably have to have surgery on my knee (as a result of the now infamous "fence incident"), but the surgery will be pretty minor. i am hoping that i can have it done on a friday and be back at work the monday after... we will see...

so, i am going to do something bit nuts, but kind of cool and romantic (back me on this so i dont feel like an ass).. when i went back to massachusetts a few weeks ago i met the coolest girl. absolutely floored me. we have been talking every night for hours at a time since then. i asked her last weekend what she would think if i flew out to visit her this weekend.. she said, it would be cool... SO, i am flying home tomorrow to spend some time with her.. i am hoping that things will go well enough and evolve. i really hope that i am doing the right thing here... i dont want her to think that i am being overzealous, but then again i want her to understand how much i like her and how she makes me happy.... a big crapshoot.. the thing i fear most is having my heart broken again. it has been almost 3 years since my ex-fiancee left me and i am just finally totally over her and the situation. i really dont want to go back to that place, that gut wrenching feeling, of getting hurt...

anyways.... i will update when i get back on sunday.
