....and so we fell to the ground together in each others arms--wearing smiles we hadn't seen on each other in months. she kissed me and let her lips linger above mine for a few seconds so that i could feel the breath as it escaped her.
we moved to the bedroom & she started to undress me as i turned out the lights.

the morning was beautiful as i felt her beside me. there were no troubles, only a contentment that had never been experienced before. nude, her body glowed, and there were tears that came from both of us in these hours of complete vulnerabilty. open, exposed, we tore the sheets from the bed, flinging them into the darkness and the moment arrived.

it was more than a clarity--the calm intoxicated me to the point where everything was now understood. there were no secrets in the universe, all questions were reduced to truth, and i was completely in love.

there was no sex--only the flesh and minds together. maybe we would die together as we were.

these were my dreams.
