Sorry to hear about that blow-up. I actually did the same to my mom one time because she just tends to bad mouth my father like it's something natural to do so I gave it to her and told her exactly what I thought about her doing that all the time. It's just plain not right to be bad mouthing to your child(ren) about one of their parents regardless of if they are divorced or not.

Sorry to hear that your dad is less than nice. But it's good to hear that you stood up to him and let him know that his behaviour was unacceptable!
