A couple of weeks ago I asked out a woman who works in my building, she said no and that was that. One of my coworkers found out about this and managed to track her down just to badger her into changing her mind.
I have no idea this is happening, today I get a call from an unknown number and I decline it and it happens again and is the woman I had asked out. I'm really confused how she got my number. She said she had reconsidered meeting for a drink. I said no, that offer was two weeks ago and I've moved past this.
I asked how she got my number and she told me what my coworker had done. I told her I'm sorry for what my coworker had done and asked her to delete my number.
I had a discussion with my colleague in her office a couple of hours later. Nothing like starting a conversation with "What the fuck is wrong with you", I didn't yell but I made my point to stay the fuck out of my personal life.
I had a discussion with the office manager about this right after to explain what I knew was going on. I know ther will be a meeting with HR sometime in the near future.
Nothing like "friends" making getting rejected even worse.
