I do a lot of target shooting and one of my friends turned me on to steel plate shooting. It's shooting a row of steel plates as fast as you can. Last night I was practicing with some friends and learned a pretty good lesson, don't stand directly in front of the plate rack you are shooting at. I got hit by a piece of a bullet (come backer) right in the sternum. I'm fine it didn't break the skin but that was a bit startling, I am a bit more concerned that I didn't stop to check myself until after I finished my string.
I think I'm going back to punching paper.
