Good to see you're back. I took a break too. As you get older you do lose a bit of your self esteem. You might also notice that your "friends" suck and so does every body else. Maybe that's just how I feel about people out here. Maybe out there you actually know cool people!
Hey hun, 21 - woohoo! Live for the moment... I know its hard though. Im 24 and I still feel like Im not grown up for my age. Like, I've left all my friends behind and lost contact with everyone, and Im struggling to meet new people and have that "best friend connection" with. But on the other hand, new friends I have met since I've moved down here are all married, own their house and have children! I think Im in that limbo stage. But we all grow at our own times and things will fall into place.
Im sure you'll have a GREAT party - If you dont, I'll have to come up and smack your bottom LOL
i have that very same quote on the wall at my work, and i read it everyday.
i just believe if you stay true to yourself everything will fall into place. HAPPY 21st
quality not quantity that is what it has come down to with my friends and it is much more worth it.xxxxxxx
I know what you mean about 21 seeming grown up, when you've still got a couple years til you're there. I actually had a midlife crisis of sorts when I turned 22. I called my mom and said "Dammit, I'm past the age where birthdays actually mean anything, except that you're getting older. What's the next milestone, a quarter of a century? 30? I don't want to be old!"

Oh honey TRUST ME! You may feel like 21 is all grown up but there's ALWAYS more growing to do. 21 is so young in the grand scheme of things. Goals change, priorities shift and one day, you wake up at my ripe old age and think 'you know what? I didn't do too bad' then you realize you have more to do and that your goals are totally different. It's the circle/cycle of life. You're doing great. Especially if you realize this already, which it seems you do. See, you're all good!
I really agree with what she said. I thought I had friends that I would know forever, and they have flaked out. People just grow (or don't). We are constantly changing.
Thank you for you lovely comment in regards to my Granny. It really cheered me up.
P.S My girlfriend and I are starting up a burlesque group, I saw on Bettina's blog that you commneted about it. I am so excited!
P.P.S Have you found a good, allergy free make up? Living Nature is a NZ brand that usings all natural ingrediants.. have you tried them?
xoxoxo
Take care
I understand the soul searching and the soul lost your going through. I think I'm going through a little of the same. Sometimes I just have to remember that life is a constant flow of ups and downs and to every low there will be and up and the end of the tunnel.
whats up .?
