Hi SG Neighbors,

I hope this finds you well and good.

Okay, I had a great birthday weekend. It went like this.

Friday night was dinner with the folks and a few friends. That was pretty nice. BG made lasagna and there was much wine. And I got a few key presents, things I have needed for a while. And a few fun ones I now have a full set of Harry Potter miniatures.

Saturday was the party. And oh my goodness. All of my good buddies came by, as did some come by I hadnt seen for years. I met a few new folks, one of whom had to listen to me rant about writing for half an hour or so. Well just see if he ever dares to come back

There was Jagermeister. Whoo boy was there Jagermeister. I was the Jaeger Meister. At one point I had a whole group of friends drink a shot to my buddy Mylf. Afterwards, one of them said Who the fuck is Merv anyway? It got kind of out of hand . . . BG tells me that after everyone left I kept getting out of bed and trying to find folks to drink more shots with me.

So Sunday was the hangover recovery day, nach. There was leftovers, water, Advil, nausea, lunch, and movies. I dont recall what all we watched because I took lots of naps. Lots and lots.

Since then I have been busy. I got myself a new job, that starts very soon here. Back to waiting tables but this is a place that serves beer and liquor so with any luck I can make some fucking tips. I have been trying to get a bunch of writing done . . . BG isnt helping there at all. I love having her around but sometimes I think she resents the time I spend writing. On the other hand I have been getting laid laid laid so I guess I can only complain so far.

BG had a drunken freak out the other night. That sucked. She has about two of these a year or so. This time she yelled and said a lot of vile shit, and at one point went off and hid in my darkened gaming room. Nothing like a good time, no?

Anyway thats my news. Im writing my ass off for a couple of days so yall be well. Im going to try to hit everyones journal tomorrow or the next day . . . do know that I hold yall in the highest regard. Much love.

Cat Report: Suddenly they are all sweet again. Cali lets me hold her and Fresh has been very social indeed. Which wont last because I have decided to get BG a kitten for her upcoming birthday.

Factoid: In college I worked very hard to convince one of my friends about Gill People. I told him that this institute out of California was taking attempted suicides in and giving them surgery, adding gills and webbing their hands so they could go live underwater in peace. I had lots of friends back me up at different times over the course of a year or two, each one claiming to have read an article I said appeared in Time Magazine at some point in the distant past. He was a good guy, it was just for fun and I always meant to tell him eventually but we lost touch.
