Worker's Comp is horrible. I think it is their policy to deny everything in hope that nobody tries to pursue things that way they don't have to pay out. I got hurt at the pizza place I managed and had to take worker's comp to court. I had insurance which made it a little easier but they eventually paid all the bills. Maybe you should find a lawyer to help you who only gets paid if you win.
I agree about the drooling smiley. I was thinking of how Homer Simpson would say it and then start drooling when I wrote it.
