I don't usually drink enough to get more than an imperceptible buzz, myself (us old folks, you know - now when I was your age . . . mutter . . . rambling story that goes nowhere . . . snore). But tonight seems to call for it.

I'm too drunk to drive the car I have to hotwire, and it's too rainy to walk. It'll have to be tomorrow.
