In my dream, last night, a spider/squirrel/hellbeast hybrid was after me and my friends, in the woods where I lived for a few years as a kid. We happened upon a little boy who was learning how to throw grenades. It broke my heart that he was handling weaponry so young. The parents were god knows where. Anyhow, my boss didn't believe me about the squirrel spider hellbeast, and he ended up getting us all. Oy.
No wonder the nightmares, I woke up sleeping on my back, no covers, but wearing socks.
My Life: The Sitcom
The set: Crazy Apartment, sort of looks like a ship, a broken down ship with broken doors, stoves, etc.
The Cast: I live with... my best friend, Alana, since 10th grade. I live with a couple. The boy, Dylan, likes to never stop talking, and rarely makes much sense. Usually, it's amusing. The girl, Christina, is very quiet, to the point where I am paranoid she hates me. She might. I also live with a guy, James, I had a crush on last fall and decided to deal with that by befriending the kid. Oh sexual tension.
There is also a boyfriend, he's apparent mostly in dialogue, and not so much in form. Honestly, I haven't seen the kid in about 2 and a half weeks now, and I have no hope of seeing him anytime soon. It's especially silly because I know he drives past my house twice a day on his way to work. Honestly, I am getting a bit sore about that....
There are also the 4 boys from downstairs, most notable, the best friend's boyfriend, Mike, who is always up. the other 3, mostly for comedic cameos. The boys are indie fucks, with band t-shirts and in jokes. My favorite is Tony. He is less hostile, and I enjoy his comic approach to life.
There is also my mother, who drops in occasionally. She is pretty much a shorter, curvier (I don't mean fatter, I mean va va voom) version of me, a little more crass, a little more sensible, sort of concerned about me.
I miss the downstairs hippy girl character.
There also a couple of girls who are short, crazy, inseperable. There are actualy recent photos I took with them, in my devianart. You can't tell much, though. Just artsey shots of their legs. They are fun girls to be friends with. Last night, we staged a kidnapping for one of them, and sold her as a sex slave to the other one for a batch of peanut butter cookies. Mmmm cookies.
Quirks:
I have been eating about 5 freezepops a day, lately.
I am something of a job slut. i just go from job to job. I quit the corporate hell one. I really didn't like explaining to people who called me at customer service exactly how the company I worked for was gonna screw them over that particular day (signed a nondisclosure agreement, can't disclose). Alana and I are hopeful about out job prospects at the legendary texas roadhouse. Apparently there will be peanuts on the floor and they will make us linedance. My inner masochist is squealing in delight. They just need to call us...
I really want to start a clothing design company with Alana. We have the collective talents. More about that, in future episodes, hopefully.
Can't choose between black hair dye or blonde hilights. Oh hairdye addiction. I need to start accumulating enough wealth to invest in wigs, methinks. Because, on some level, I think I should be a master of disguise, darling.

Well, I think my current theme song is Southern Culture On the Skid's "Walk like a Camel" but I am not sure why, as I like neither snack crackers or oatmeal pies.
Today's episode will feature me, on a day off, walking around with a Betty Page bobble-head doll (a gift from an ex boyfriend), my cool hippy friend who used to live in my building, a camera, and an attempt to document the adventures of Betty Page on her day out. Hopefully, it will also include Alana and Alana's bunny, Ogden. I also wanna go swimming today.
